Announcing QFest 2017 Judges
February 15, 2017 – Ocean Grove, NJ – QFest NJ LGBT Film & Digital Media Festival, NJ’s only LGBT film festival, is honored to welcome four acclaimed media professionals as judges for QFest 2017, April 7, 8 & 9. In its second year, QFest supports and promotes LGBT film & digital media, the individuals who create it, and the people and stories they highlight. Festival judges for QFest 2017 are Anthony Pemberton, filmmaker and Montclair State University Film Department Chair, Alex Biese, film/entertainment writer for the Asbury Park Press, Lisa Raven, filmmaker and Montclair University Associate Professor and Ric Ryder, Broadway singer/actor and teacher at Stella Adler Studio in NYC. “QFest is grateful to have four notable media professionals who bring significant experience in the film and entertainment industry to the challenge of selecting this year’s festival winners,” said John Mikytuck, QSpot Executive Director. “QFest continues to attract LGBT artists from New Jersey and around the world whose work represents a diversity of voices that might not otherwise be heard.” Stay tuned for more QFest 2017 news and updates.
