Colleen has been in the field of social work for 17 years, 10 of those years within the Barnabas Healthcare system.  Colleen has implemented both school, and community based prevention programs, as well as family support programs throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties.  She also worked as an out patient therapist at a community mental health clinic before starting her private practice in 2008.

Currently Colleen works with individuals, couples and families dealing with depression, anxiety, sexuality, gender identity, trauma recovery and addiction issues.  She believes strongly in the resiliency and determination of the human spirit, and a large part of her work focuses on the support and further development of that spiritual strength.
Colleen has identified the need for greater support for area parents of LGBT youth and young adults, and has therefore partnered up with QSpot to provide that service in a safe and supportive environment.
